Choir
Choir is a youth band where a pupil of the Ryszard Bukowski Secondary State School of Music sings in Wroclaw whose are educating in different specialties (instrumentalist, rhythmic, vocalism). Band takes participation in numerous oratory and chamber concerts in churches and antique interiors of Wroclaw and Lower Silesia Region. Members of choir are educating in first, second, third class and they are unobligated to play in orchestra. Choir is meeting once a week and presents before audience many times a year.
Choir cooperated for example with Symphonic Orchestra of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw, Chamber Orchestra of Ryszard Bukowski Secondary State School of Music in Wroclaw, Choir of Wroclaw University Gaudium, Chamber Choir of University of Technology in Wroclaw Consonanza, Choir of Economic Academy in Wroclaw Ars Cantandi.
Choir took participation in concerts from cycle "Tumskie Evenings", accured on festival "May with Old Music". Choir cooperated with Symphonic Orchestra of Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice and presented "Ludźmierskie vespers" (J.K. Pawlusiewicz) in Warsaw and Cracow on Wawel.
Choir has got in artistic output big oratories for example Stabat Mater - K. Szymanowski, Stabat Mater - J. Haydn (IV 2006), Requiem - G. Fauhré (IV 2007), Latin Missa - S. Moniuszko (X 2007), Angelus - W. Kilar (XI 2008), Requiem - W.A. Mozart (IV 2009) and stage works for example The Italian Girl in Algiers - G. Rossini, The Gypsy Baron - J. Strauss, The Elixir of Love - G. Donizetti.
For 3 times choir singed student on opening inauguration of academic year in Wroclaw (X 2005, X 2006, X 2007). These event was emitted in Polish Television (live).
Choir came into existed in 1990 and was led on area by many conductors. From November 2004 artistic chief is Artur Wróbel.
